Meet Yaya Anusiem, your go-to beauty maven with a flair for fun and professionalism!
With a vibrant career spanning since 2015, Yaya is not just a Licensed Master Cosmetologist in both Oklahoma and California, but also a Licensed Medical Micropigmentologist specializing in creating captivating looks with permanent makeup and lush lash extensions.

In addition to her prowess in esthetics, Yaya is a proud graduate of Cal State LA, where she earned her Bachelor’s in International Business in 2022 while simultaneously building her esthetic business. Fueling her passion for perfection, she completed a 300-hour Medical Micropigmentation program in 2023 with Babe Ink Academy and her Master Instructor training at Jenks Beauty College in 2026.

Today, Yaya serves as the Lead Eyelash Extension Instructor and Program Leader at Artisan Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she leads a state-approved Eyelash Extension Specialist program designed to prepare aspiring lash artists for professional licensure and successful careers in the beauty industry.

Through the program, Yaya has trained more than 20 students in professional eyelash extension artistry, covering classic, hybrid, and volume techniques, lash styling, safety and sanitation, client care, business fundamentals, and preparation for the Oklahoma State Board licensing process.

As an educator, Yaya is passionate about showing beauty professionals that their careers can extend far beyond the treatment room. Whether she’s behind the chair, leading a classroom, mentoring an emerging artist, or developing the next generation of beauty professionals, her goal is to combine strong technique with confidence, professionalism, business knowledge, and real-world industry experience.
