Through partnerships with accredited cosmetology schools, she instructs a 120-hour State Board eligible Eyelash Extension Specialist program that fulfills Oklahoma’s requirements for licensure. The curriculum is intentionally structured to emphasize technical precision, sanitation standards, disciplined application, and thorough exam preparation.

Who is eligible to enroll in the 120-hour program?

Students must meet the enrollment requirements of the partnering cosmetology school, which may include age and education minimums set by Oklahoma regulations. Please contact the school directly for specific admission criteria.

Is this program required to legally perform lash extensions in Oklahoma?

Yes. In Oklahoma, lash extensions must be completed through a licensed cosmetology school in order to qualify for state licensure. The 120-hour State Board eligible program fulfills this educational requirement.

Do I receive my license directly from Yaya?

No. Certification is completed through an accredited cosmetology institution. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the Oklahoma State Board examinations.

How long does the program take to complete?

The program consists of 120 hours and is completed according to the schedule set by the partnering school. Program timelines may vary depending on the cohort format.

Is a kit included in the program?

Kit details are determined by the partnering institution. There will be kits available for purchase depending on the school. Students will receive guidance on required tools, materials, and professional-grade supplies necessary for successful completion of the course.

What is the difference between this program and a 2-day lash class?

Short courses and workshops are designed for already licensed professionals seeking skill refinement. They do not fulfill Oklahoma’s licensure requirements. The 120-hour program is structured specifically to meet State Board eligibility standards.

Will I be fully prepared for the State Board exam?

Yes. The curriculum includes sanitation laws, theory, practical skill development, and exam preparation to ensure students are professionally and academically prepared to sit for their examinations.

Can I take this course if I already hold a cosmetology or esthetics license?

Yes. Licensed professionals may enroll if they wish to add the Eyelash Extension Specialist credential, but it is not needed if you are already a licensed cosmetologist or esthetics.

Where are classes held?
